Trade Buildings

TRADE Buildings. Barcelona, 1966
"This is also a case apart, since being the volumetric composition compulsory and only being able to suppress the aggressiveness of the edges by softening the outer space, we adopted a solution based on curves, in which a small sawtooth was set instead of a polygonal line. The shape of the towers' curve tries to correct, as far as possible, the sensation of heaviness that the bound volume had. In the decoration of the common services Mr. Carreras intervened decisively. We designed the decoration of two sample floors of the towers".
