Torre Valentina

TORRE VALENTINA RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, Costa Brava, 1959
“Torre Valentina is without any doubt the work which has had the greatest impact everywhere. Its simplicity, the appartments' diversity of programmes and the good views to the sea were made compatible in this project. To us, its main virtue was that, despite its high density, it was adapted to the terrain and was virtually invisible from the sea, with the exception of the hotel that was part of this development. This project was ultimately rejected by the Administrative Board of the sponsoring company, who pleaded as main disadvantages its extreme simplicity and its appearance, according to them, of a Moroccan Kasbah.”
